Last night I went to the rev room in Little Rock to see the ZOSO show. It was my husband, our friend Eubanks & I. We had a pretty good time.
The night started out with Jason & me going to the Flying Saucer {a local pub} for drinks and snacks. I had some pretty decent pizza and then a DELICIOUS big soft pretzel. I was being a pig. lol. I also had 2 bottles of K’s cider.
After the Saucer, we went to the Rumba {a restaurant attached to the Rev Room} – I don’t care much for their food, and as I had already eaten anyway, I just had a pina colada at the bar. Actually, the girl said it is called a Miami Vice – it was a pina colada with strawberry stuff in it.
So then we head back to the car, because I had to, well – I’ll just say I had to go back to the car for something. lol. We saw Eubanks on the way to the car & he walked with us. Then after a bit we headed back to the venue.
So – I have no pictures or video to share. I don’t have my new camera yet & I didn’t want to mess with the crappy cell phone camera. The show was pretty decent. The sound in the place could have been a little better. The band, a Led Zeppelin tribute band, did a super job with the musical aspect of Led Zeppelin – singing could have been better on some of the covers. Overall, a good show though.
The 3 of us had gotten a small table to sit at and watch the show. I was glad to not be standing the whole time. For some shows I want to be standing up & near the action, but for this one I just wanted to chillax. There was a super little swing up on a balcony thing behind where we were sitting – so toward the end of the night I went and sat on that, in my own little VIP section. lol. It was nice to sip my drink and swing with my eyes closed while listening to No Quarter.
I drank a bunch of Cape Cods {vodka-cranberries} because that is what I usually drink when I go to shows. Then I ended the night with a white Russian.
