After I watched the video that Linda posted {go see it out here} I was in love. Here was another talented British girl for me to enjoy. My last 'British obsession' having been Lily Allen.
It's great music and well worth listening to. Strangely enough, after having 'discovered' them on ROS, I started to run across some of their music for download on Blogger. So.... I now have the entire 'Fur and Gold' album which is super! I feel a little bad that I had to stoop to the level of 'stealing' music off the internet, but I am Broke-witha-capital-B & we all know that everyone does it. lol.
Anyway - go listen for yourself. The music has such a wonderfully emotional tune that is all it's own. If you like things like; Tori Amos, portishead & Bjork - then I think you will enjoy Bat For Lashes also.

I am from Alberta, Canada. We get lotsa snow up here! =) hehe!. Luckily none right now! just a lot of rain. Speaking of flowers, my grandmother has a LOT of them. If you would like any, let me know and I can mail some seeds to you! =)
