Right now I am just sitting here waiting for my cheap microwaveable panini to cool off enough to eat. What a fabulous lunch! That's sarcasm, btw.
I'm in a irritated sort of mood right now, not a bad mood or anything, but not happy either. I just got back from the post office and paid more on shipping an item than I had anticipated. The crappy part, is that it's because of my own stupidity. Oh well, guess I have learned from the situation.
Here is what happened; I sold some of my daughters outgrown clothed on Ebay last week. The lot went for $10.50 w/ a $20 s&h charge for priority mail. WELL... turns out that the package cost me $27.40 to ship, so I only made a flippin' $3.10 profit. Frustration! Luck for the lady that bough it though. lol.
I told her about what had happened and asked that she please leave me some positive feedback - so help me, if she leaves negative because it took a few days for me to send it.... I will be a mean B. lol
So what have we learned from this? I will package and weigh boxes BEFORE I list the things on ebay from now on. Pain in my A!
Oh, the worst part.... we only had $30 left in our checking acct. this week, so I will not be doing ANYTHING or buying anything until we leave out for P'Cola this Thursday {hubby gets paycheck then}. We are so ballin' on a budget. LOL.

aww I totally hate when stuff like that happens..... before i wasn't paying attention and I bought something that was in pounds I totally thought was dollars... bah i was not impressed after... it was like 20 but turned out to be 40ish which isn't so bad but it was still annoying.
Yeah, I don't know how those full-time eBayer's do it. I think they generally ship no-priority and often make a profit on that as well. Anyhow, I'll send good vibes your way for an unexpected windfall.
I feel ya on the low bank account, that's been the story of my life for about the last...oh, 3 years. ha. I've had similar issues with ebay. I just don't sell on there anymore, I try craigslist, then if it doesn't sell, I donate.

eBay gives me the same problem, try craigslist it's better
